We are delighted to launch our third annual nationwide search for Ireland’s Tonstix Lollipop Person of the Year 2026!
Over the past two years, our winners have come from Cork and Tipperary, and the campaign has brought such joy to the schools and communities who got behind their local lollipop men and women.
This year, we are once again asking schools across Ireland to help us recognise these wonderful people who show up every day, in all weathers, to help keep our children safe on their journey to and from school. We want to share their stories and learn a little more about them.

We have attached a Tonstix colouring page below that you can print and share with pupils, giving them a lovely way to get involved and celebrate their own lollipop person. If parents would like their child’s completed artwork to be shared with Tonstix as part of the campaign, they can send it to us through our social media channels with their permission.
The winning Lollipop Person will receive €1,000, along with the coveted title of Ireland’s Tonstix Lollipop Person of the Year 2026.
We would also really appreciate your school’s support in helping us spread the word about the search through your own school channels and parent community. The more schools and families we can reach, the more of these wonderful men and women we can recognise and we would love to make this our biggest national search yet!
This campaign is very close to our hearts. It gives schools, children and parents an opportunity to say a very public thank you to the men and women who quietly look after them every single school day.
It is our honour at Tonstix to shine a light on the work they do.
